Job description

Our customers strategy and their challenges are focusing more and more towards Public Cloud and they need the technical knowledge and experience of an IT Partner. That’s where you come in, being analytically strong, be able to engineer customer workloads and of course keen on learning every day.

You are well-experienced in regard to building infrastructure and solutions within AWS, and most preferably using automated infrastructure orchestration with a ‘cloud native unless’ mentality. You enjoy automation for every use case, whether it be enforcing security and compliance or implementing scalability for customer environments.


What are you going to do?

Your aim is to maximize the potential of using AWS within the company which in return, provides further growth for our customers. Within our ‘Cloud Centre of Excellence’ but we just call it our Public Cloud team, you design, develop, build, test and automate solutions within AWS based on feedback from our customers and teams.

Your added values in return is used by the teams within our company and you’re responsible for further enhancing or re-architecting the solutions (‘repo’s’) in corporation with these customer engineering teams. You like to help where required with migrations and transitions towards AWS Cloud. You ensure the boundaries to which we use AWS for our customers, are defined and guard railed. You know how to automate processes and how to document ‘as code’.

Listen to our customers from a business perspective and guide customers from a technical perspective. Our goal is to provide added value with the use of AWS Cloud and accompanying tools. It’s as simple as that...

Your growth

You support the Solvinity organization by developing, building and maintaining several solutions that help our teams to accelerate. Next to building, your role is to be supportive towards our customer engineer teams by assisting, guiding and training colleagues. You develop the content by going more and more in depth with customers, AWS and of course your colleagues. We help you with your growth by facilitating courses and training.

Requirements

This is you

  • Preferably, a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with working within Amazon Web Services
  • (Minimal) in the possession of an AWS Associate level certification and the ambition to obtain a professional or specialty certification
  • Experience with infrastructure orchestration (Terraform, CloudFormation) along with custom scripting (Python, Bash) and source version control
  • Experience with using CI/CD pipelines. Our main solution we use is Gitlab CI but this may sometimes be different due to customer requirements
  • Last but certainly not least! A proactive, open and facilitating mentality along good command of the Dutch and English language
